A record that nobody will ever equal anywhere in the world.  Mr. A.E. (Albert Snr) Passmore of FOREST GATE STUD, which was situated in the Bethlehem area, is the only person to have bred, owned, trained and ridden a Group 1 winner anywhere in the world!  He did this with OPERA CLOAK (SAF) 1913, a chestnut filly by ST MAURICE (GB) out PELERINE (GB) by ST ANGELO (GB), when winning the 1916 SA Oaks at Turffontein. OPERA CLOAK went on to produce the 1930 Durban July Handicap winner, FULL DRESS, bred by Albert Passmore Snr at FOREST GATE.
