Sparkling Water’s three parts sister by Vercingetorix, won impressively on debut for the stable of Mike de Kock and owners, Mrs Mary Slack of Wilgerbosdrift in partnership with Bradley Ralph.

The 3yo filly, Spumante Dolce, out of Espumanti by Dansili won by almost two lengths at the Vaal over 1400m.

Sparkling Water has been covered by Gimmethegreenlight for the season at Wilgerbosdrift. Their Hawwaam half-brother sold at the 2024 National Yearling Sale for R5-million to Hollywood Syndicate, named Sparkling Rose.

Sparkling Water, a daughter of Silvano, won seven times including the Gr1 Hollywoodbets Durban July where she beat Jet Dark, the Gr2 New Turf Carriers Western Cape Stayers and the Gr3 Victory Moon Stakes. This is the family of Gr1 sire, Dick Turpin.
